Shooting film but don't have access to a darkroom?  Take this workshop to develop your black + white film in our DIY Darkroom.  Haven't done it in a while?  Let us help you revisit the process.  Know how to do it already?  Join us for a fun afternoon of film developing and food.  All materials and equipment are included in your donation.

Learn how to combine historical and contemporary photographic processes.  Explore the potential of these materials and why so many artists continue to find new and innovative methods to use this very old school process.

Explore the California landscape on this weekend workshop with our mobile classroom!  Learn how to make a tintype in our outdoor darkroom with a group of photographers that love to camp and enjoy the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer us.  Take a class outside, get away from the city, eat yummy food and re-energize your art self with a location change!

A tintype is a one-of-a-kind image that will take you back in time to the Civil War photographers of the 1850s.  The image is photographed directly onto a sheet of metal, in camera and on site.  Its truly a beautiful and exciting process!

Learn how to use the basic manual functions on your DSLR camera in this quick but informative session designed for the beginning photographer.  Know how to control your shutter speed and depth of field for creative storytelling solutions.
