So Sew Co

San Diego Art Institute is hosting a special workshop presented by Bridge and So Sew Co collective for a socially engaged art workshop that invites the public to learn new skills and utilize the power of art as communication. Art and activism have an inherently symbiotic relationship, no matter where you stand or what your message may be. Join Shirin Towfiq, as she provides basic sewing instruction and ideas for conceptual clothing inspiring participants to assert their individual power through the art of textile creation.
