WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Learn how to screen print a unique design to a shirt using the silk screen printing process. Get your image digitized and learn about the screen printing process.  Learn to a screen print using DIY tools to print at home. Printed shirts will be one ink color. Participants will receive one shirt but are encouraged to bring their own for specific color, style, etc.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Chris Ganan is a graphic design and Creative Director at Mad Engine design.  He has been working on a print ship since high school, and as his interests transformed into a career, fashion became a huge part of his art. Chris travels looking for unique fabrics and textiles, and always has design on his mind.

THE WORKSHOP

Each participant will learn how to take a personal design and expose it on a silk screen frame.  Get the chance to print your design with a one color pass.  Participants are free to bring additional shirt and make a donation to print more than one piece.  The workshop will start with group instruction, then participants will have individual studio time to process their own work.  A photo booth will be set up to document the work.
